What’s happening at Tatura Senior Citizens Club?

By Morgan Dyer

Last Sunday a number of members lent a hand at the annual Tatura Lions Club TatFest.

Our members helped with the Devonshire teas, which helped raise vital funds for the Tatura community.

Bob Kohlman had the pleasure to meet City of Greater Shepparton mayor Seema Abdullah last week and said she was a lovely and approachable person.

On Wednesday, March 11, the club will gather for a monthly meeting at 10.30 am at the Senior Citizen Club Rooms.

Everyone is welcome to attend and we will discuss the club's plans for the year ahead.

We would like new suggestions, so members, put your thinking caps on.

Members hope Marg Cronyn had a wonderful 80th birthday last week.

This week the club wishes Ann Causby, Alan Richardson, Paul Henessey, Pat Normington and Jaan Paarsons a big happy birthday.

Members are also reminded not to forget Alan's hat party on Saturday, March 14.

The club would like to welcome back Marg Chance who took a break from the club for personal reasons.

The club is looking for more card players for Crazy Waist.

This week's bowls winners were Bob Langton, Jan Serra and Mary Meda.

Alan Richardson was crowned the card champion, while Jaye Alexander, Bob Kohlman and Keith Morton took out the games and comp.
